Anthony Arduini, President | CEO | Partner
Bringing a unique leadership and management style to ISM, Anthony has experienced success within the British Columbia steel construction, manufacturing, and distribution industries over the last 25 years.
After graduating from the BCIT School of Business in 1996, Anthony joined AJ Forsyth (Russel Metals) taking on an entry-level sale role in Steel Distribution. He experienced positive results in Estimating and Sales | Marketing, he was promoted to the role of Manager – Structural Products (BC Region). After a successful 13-year career with AJ Forsyth, Anthony joined Marcon Metalfab in 2009. During his tenure he gained Steel and Rubber Manufacturing experience working directly within the Bridge & Infrastructure, Commercial, and Natural Resource Sectors (Oil, Gas, Mining). Various roles included; Business Development, Estimating, Project Management, Procurement, and Quality Assurance.
In 2013, combining his passions of structural steel, manufacturing, and construction, Anthony joined the ISM family. At ISM, Anthony has held Management roles in Business Development, Sales | Estimating, and Marketing, and was promoted to General Manager in 2015. In 2018, following a successful corporate restructuring and as part of Mario’s succession planning, Anthony was promoted to the role of Vice President | Partner, being responsible for all business activities. In 2020, Anthony was promoted to the role of President | CEO | Partner.

Ron Leger, P.Tech GSC | Vice President | Partner
A native of Moncton, New Brunswick, Ron’s career has spanned 30 years directly within the steel industry, experiencing success working with Dominion Bridge, Titan Metal’s, and RCM Fabrication. Ron’s in-depth knowledge in all facets of steel fabrication, detailing, engineering, and construction allows him to continually be a trusted partner, while leading and mentoring teams effectively.
Originally joining the ISM team as Senior Estimator in 2015, Ron was soon promoted to the role of Estimating Manager. While continually operating at the highest level of integrity, his unparalleled work-ethic, humble demeanor, and entrepreneurial drive made Ron the natural selection to be promoted to the role of Vice President in 2020.

Melissa Hansford, CPA, CGA | Controller
Originally hired by ISM as the Accounting Manager in 2018, her strong financial acumen and passion for continuous improvement made Melissa the natural selection to be promoted to Controller in 2020. Melissa’s strong critical thinking abilities enable her to help the firm achieve short and long-term financial objectives, while providing strong attention to the collaboration and implementation of initiatives to improve overall operational excellence.

Richard Murphy | Senior Project Manager
Since joining ISM in 2010, Richard has experienced strong success in various Management roles, including Drawing Office Management and Project Management. With an exceptional work ethic and in-depth Detailing knowledge, Richard was promoted to Project Management in 2014.
His hands-on proactive approach to proactive problem solving and extensive working knowledge of Tekla Structures is well received by the ISM team, partners, consultants, and construction industry colleagues. Richard has managed numerous marquee projects in the lower mainland such as; Bridge Studios, Surrey Biofuel Facility, Mayne Coatings, Main Street Skytrain Station, Surrey Works Yard, and the Hamilton Transit Center. In 2021, Richard was promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager.

Clarence Losier, Field Manager
Clarence has dedicated his entire professional career within the construction industry. He spent the first decade in general construction, and over the last 20 years, he has been responsible for safely and efficiently leading erection teams constructing some of Vancouver’s most notable steel construction projects. Some marquee projects include; High Street Mall (Graham Construction), Tsawwassen Mills (Ledcor), and the Hamilton Transit Center (Bird Construction).
Clarence continues to display steel erection excellence while being well received and respected by team members, suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants, and customers. ISM’s erection team of ironworkers, welders, riggers, and crane operators continue to exceed expectations on any sized structural steel construction project.

Wayne Shaw, Shop Manager
For over 24 years, Wayne has excelled in all facets of Steel Fabrication production and shop management. Wayne has a dynamic skill set with direct experiences as a Steel Fabricator, CNC Machine Operator and Technician, Management Representative for Health & Safety, with additional responsibilities in Maintenance and Purchasing. With his expert hands-on ability working with world-class CNC Steel Processing equipment such as Ficep and Peddinghaus, his technical ability is complimented with his success preparing for ISO9000 inspection.
Currently, Wayne is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the ISM Fabrication and CNC Processing Teams. His strong work ethic and positive attitude enable ISM to meet deadlines and continuously manufacture high-quality steel components, on time and on budget.
